Jan vom Brocke becomes President of the Association for Information Systems (AIS)

Schöller Senior Fellow Prof. Dr. Jan vom Brocke has been elected the next President of the international Association for Information Systems (AIS), the world association for research and teaching in information systems.

The association, which was established in 1994, publishes internationally recognized journals, organizes conferences, and thus supports the global exchange between individuals and organizations involved in research, teaching, practice, and study in the field of information systems. It has members in more than 100 countries.

Jan vom Brocke will take up his position on September 1, 2025, and will lead the international association for three years – as its 32nd president and only the third representative of a German university to hold this position.
