L. Currie et al.) published an editiorial in the\u00a0<em>Journal of Information Technology<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The editorial \u201cRethinking Technology Regulation in the Age of AI Risks\u201d argues that traditional regulatory paradigms are ill-equipped to address the unique challenges posed by artificial intelligence, such as opacity, autonomy, and systemic risk. It proposes a tripartite risk framework and highlights the need for adaptive, technology-specific governance that balances innovation with accountability, drawing on comparative analysis of regulatory approaches in regions including the EU, US, UK, and China.
