Based on the School&#8217;s research focus \u201cCreating Cohesion \u2013 Designing Change \u2013 Realizing Innovation\u201d, the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center supports top-level research by creating and cultivating an international network of outstanding scholars and establishing vibrant collaborations with local roots and global outreach.<\/p>\n<p>By its Fellowhips, the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center supports research projects of national and international scholars, which are conducted in collaboration with the professors of FAU\u2019s School of Business, Economics and Society.<\/p>\n<p>Fellowships are granted annually in the following two categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sch\u00f6ller Senior Fellow<\/strong> for internationally renowned scholars<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sch\u00f6ller Fellow<\/strong> for promising early-career scholars<br \/>\n(including assisstant professors, postdoctoral researchers and outstanding PhD students)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Selection criteria<\/h3>\n<p>The Fellows are selected by the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center\u2019s <a href=\"\/advisory-board\/\">Advisory Board<\/a> by the following selection criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>already existing or intended collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiso.rw.fau.eu\/school\/institutes-and-chairs\/institutes\/\">professors of the School of Business, Economics and Society<\/a> as well as the willingness to engage in on-site cooperation and dialogue in Nuremberg,<\/li>\n<li>scientific excellence as demonstrated by top-tier publications,<\/li>\n<li>theoretical rigor and practical relevance of the outlined research project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h3>Rights and Obligations of the Fellows<\/h3>\n<p>The Dr. Theo and Friedl Sch\u00f6ller Research Center provides funds of up to 50.000 \u20ac per Sch\u00f6ller Senior Fellow and up to 20.000 \u20ac per Sch\u00f6ller Fellow for the realization of their proposed research project.<br \/>\nFellows are expected to contribute with their competence and experience to the research activities of the School of Business, Economics and Society in Nuremberg.<br \/>\nIn addition, the Fellows are expected to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>participate in the annual Award Ceremony of the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center,<\/li>\n<li>acknowledge the support provided by the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center in all publications related to their Fellowship,<\/li>\n<li>report on the progress and results of their research project on a regular basis to the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h3>Application Form<\/h3>\n<p><mark>Applications can be submitted until <strong>December 1 <\/strong> of each year.<\/mark><br \/>\nPlease only use our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoeller-forschungszentrum.rw.fau.de\/files\/2025\/07\/Schoeller_Fellowship_Application.docx\">Application Form <\/a> for your application and send it within the application deadline by email to the Board of Directors of the Sch\u00f6ller Research Center.<\/p>\n<p>The professors of the School of Business, Economics and Society are welcome to nominate appropriate candidates.
